Tanner is starting an Agri-Coaching business in the South Peace region of Alberta, and is excited about the opportunity to work closely with local producers on growing their businesses.

Tanner grew up right in the High Prairie area and is still actively involved in the family farm, which focuses on cattle and grain production. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree in 2006, majoring in Range and Pasture Management.

From 2004 to 2008, Tanner worked for the local Viterra (formerly Agricore United) as a crop scout, and later as a location manager, where he gained his competence with the field-level issues that affect producers in area, as well as some of the fundamental issues related to running a business.

Tanner wants the focus of his business to be helping his clients with strategic planning for their businesses, services for in-season agronomy issues, and also manure management and regulatory compliance, pasture management planning, and access to carbon credit aggregation and trading.

Tanner joined the Agri-Trend Network for access to the wisdom and new ideas from the rest of the Agri-Coaches, the team of Senior Agri-Coaches, the tools, support, and training provided by Agri-Trend, and the experience in providing good value to clients.
