Matt joined the Agri-Trend team in Feb 2004 with lots of enthusiam to provide an excellent service to grain and livestock producers in Southern Alberta. He is an active partner in a fourth generation family farm North-West of Strathmore where they raise Limousin and Angus cattle. Matt received his BSc Ag from the U of A in June 2004, CCA in 2005, and his P.Ag in April of 2006. Manure management and silage production are a big part of the area and therefore have a great interest in Matt's focus. Along with one of Matt's clients, a compost marketing business was established in the summer of 2006. Recently, Matt has travelled to Brazil for a month to see what the agricutlure scene looks like down there. He also participated in the John Deere Pro Farmer Midwest corn and soybean tour through South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. Matt was recognized within the Agri-Trend network as being Agri-Coach of the year in 2007. Matt's sister also joined the business is January 2008 to provide a more detailed service to his clients.
