Travis was raised on a farm in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, working with grains, oilseeds and pulses. Following high school he attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where convocated in 2004 with his major in Plant Sciences. While obtaining his degree he spent time working at the University of Alberta’s research farm in the cereal breeding program. Since convocation Travis has spent time working Bayer CropScience in Southern Alberta, with Hudye Soil Services Inc. in Northeastern Saskatchewan and now with Dean Clarke Agri Service in Southern Saskatchewan. During this time he has become an Articling Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists, a Certified Crop Advisor and a Certified Forensic Agrologist through the University of Saskatchewan.

Travis is enthusiastic to work with Dean Clarke Agri Services and within the Agri-Trend Network at the same time, a relationship that is able to provide agrologists with an unmatched level of support. Travis feels this relationship will allow him to work with farmers helping them to make informed and effective decisions.
