After high school Steve went to work for a local rancher/farmer with a large cattle and croping operation. Several years later he started a grain trucking business which evolved into a grain brokering business. During this time Steve worked very closely with farmers, ranchers, feedlots and feedmills and gained invaluable experience. Through these close relationships, Steve gave and earned a great deal of trust and respect. After twenty years of the grain business, he took on the role of a fertilizer and fuel agent with Imperial Oil. Here Steve expanded his knowledge of business practices and other practices associated with the industry. Seventeen years later, Steve brought his experience to McRae Holdings Ltd., an independent fertilizer dealer and Agri-Trend Associate. Steve continues to learn through McRae's and Agri-Trend and enjoys passing his diverse knowledge and experience onto his valued clients. Currently, he is pusuing his Certified Crop Advisor certification.
